PRESS RELEASE Aaron Johnson FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE “Buddy Cop Show” to Premiere at Nickelodeon TheaterColumbia film production company Pretty Penny Productions, composed entirely of students attending the University of South Carolina, have announced that they will premiere their latest work, entitled “Buddy Cop Show,” at the Nickelodeon Theater on September 17, 2005 at 11am. “Buddy Cop Show,” which has been in production since December, 2004, is an action/comedy series comprised of four approximately half-hour episodes which chronicle the misadventures of two police officers: Orville Redenbacher (Bobby Frankenberger): a loose cannon with nerves of steel and a heart of gold, and Carson Daly (Ryan Reynolds): a rookie cop who does things by the book. “Buddy Cop Show” was shot digitally on a budget of less than $400.00 and represents the most ambitious project that Pretty Penny Productions has ever attempted. The episodes are entitled “The Case of the People Weiners,” “The Case of the Orphan-Eating Robots,” “The Case of the Hax0red B0x0rz” and “The Case of the Turd Burglar.” “Buddy Cop Show” is directed and produced by Aaron Johnson and written by Bobby Frankenberger, Aaron Johnson, Ryan Reynolds and Grant Robertson. “I'm very pleased to have completed Buddy Cop Show – the most phenominal work of genius in the history of moving pictures,” said Director Aaron Johnson.
